Welcome to the SUSTANCE public transport accessibility tool

The aim of the online tool for assessing public transport accessibility of routes/regions and for fostering transferability is to support replicability of the SUSTANCE public transport (PT) accessibility methodology to the regions in Central Europe. The SUSTANCE methodology deals with assessment of current status but also testing of efficiency of planned interventions in PT connectivity and ICT support. Thanks to the online tool, the users (e.g. public authorities responsible for PT planning, public transport operators, researchers of PT operations etc.) will have an additional instrument for assessing and forecasting PT accessibility of specific rural, peripheral and cross-border regions or routes, based on the approved quantitative methodology. The online tool is being developed in the framework of the SUSTANCE project (2023 – 2026), co-financed by the Central Europe EU programme.
